Quietly Raising the Standard.
We started by restoring what homeowners loved.
Now we build what they'll love for the next twenty-five years.
Where We Started
Alpine began in the most demanding corner of the industry: refinishing natural wood.
Not the glamorous work. The hard work. The kind that teaches you how wood breathes, how weather destroys, and how to bring something back that a homeowner has already emotionally written off.
Those early years built our reputation the right way — one restored deck, one revived fence, one grateful homeowner at a time. Neighbors watched transformations happen in real time, and trust spread street by street across the Wasatch Front.
What We Learned About Homeowners
After 17+ years, a pattern became impossible to ignore. Homeowners weren't just asking for repairs. They were asking for relief.
People don't buy materials. They buy certainty, beauty, and freedom from future problems.
Understanding that psychology changed everything.
The Turning Point: Becoming a Full-Line Builder
As Utah’s climate became harsher and homeowners demanded longer-lasting solutions, our work naturally expanded beyond refinishing. Customers asked for new fences, fresh decks, custom railings, and gates — in materials we hadn’t carried before.
So we built a deeper bench. We brought in the best lines of vinyl, Sim/Tek, ornamental iron, aluminum, and premium composite — including becoming a certified installer for Compoxen®, an engineered composite built specifically to outperform in extreme climates.
Today we install every major fencing and decking material, plus the staining, refinishing, and repair work that built our name. Same craftsmen, same standards — a much wider catalog.
Why This Matters
This wasn’t a pivot. It was an evolution.
We still refinish, stain, and repair with the same craftsmanship that built our name. We just do a lot more now — wood, vinyl, Sim/Tek, composite, iron, aluminum, ranch rail, decking, and railings, with custom design when the project calls for it.
That dual reality — deep restoration roots and a full installation catalog — gives homeowners something rare: choice without compromise, and an honest recommendation either way.
